Tour Overview

Day 1 : Arrival to Cairo

Arrival to Cairo airport, Upon you arrival you will find our representative waiting you with the sign of Ramasside tours, then you will be transferred by an A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur

Breakfast. Start your tour to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren, visit the Valley Temple of the pyramids & many outstanding photo stops.

Move to visit Sakkara, Memphis, and Dahshur, First of all you will visit Sakkara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Sakkara which dating back to 2600 BC under the 3rd Dynasty, it’s considered the oldest stone structure and it was built for the king Djoser. In the same area is located Imhotep temple and Mastaba of Ti.

Proceed to visit Memphis which was the Capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdome and the first Capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II at Memphis

On your way to the south you will visit the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid of Dashsur.

(Optional) Evening trip to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum & Markets Tour

Breakfast. Start your tour visiting The Grand Egyptian Musuem . Arrive at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) Complex early in the morning. Start your day by exploring the exterior gardens surrounding the museum. Take in the scenic views and appreciate the architectural beauty of the building. Spend some time in the commercial area, where you can shop for souvenirs and enjoy a quick breakfast or coffee at one of the cafes. Enter the Grand Hall, the main entrance area of the museum.

Admire the grandeur of the hall and take in the informative displays and exhibits that provide an overview of the museum's history and significance. Engage with any interactive activities or presentations available in the Grand Hall to enhance your understanding of Egypt's rich cultural heritage. Afternoon:. Join a guided tour of the limited-access areas of the museum. Follow the knowledgeable guide as they provide insights into the museum's layout, design, and preparations for the official opening.

Late Afternoon. Before leaving, make sure to revisit the commercial area for any last-minute shopping or souvenir purchases. Take a final stroll through the exterior gardens, capturing any remaining photo opportunities and cherishing the serene ambiance. Remember, this itinerary is designed for the current limited-access tours available before the official opening. Stay updated with official announcements to learn about the full opening date and the opportunity to explore the complete interior spaces of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Then move to the markets and bazaars where you can buy souvenirs. Then go to Khan El Khalili old Bazaar .

Transfer back to Cairo airport to take your flight to Aswan.

Arrival Aswan and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Aswan.


Day 4 : Abu Simbel-Aswan Tour

Breakfast. Transfer to Abu Simbel by air-conditioned vehicle, The two Temples of Abu Simbel , with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom.

The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself.

The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.

Then move to visit High Dam-Temple of Philae Island Sail to the island of Agilkia. Visit the temple that was removed from their original island of Philae which lies submerged most of the year by the waters of Lake Nasser. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th-dynasty and the Roman period.

Return to the mainland and drive to Aswan for a view of the high Dam which was completed in 1964. From here you can gaze across Lake Nasser. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: Edfu, Kom Ombo – Transfer to Luxor

Breakfast. Drive to Edfu, you will be transferred to visit the majestic temple dedicated to Horus which is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt.

According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.

Then transfer to see to the Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to divinity: “Haroeris” with his falcon head and ” Sobek ” with his crocodile head.

The Temple of Kom Ombo was built on the honor of two deities the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Also, Kom Ombo’s importance lies in its huge sugar-cane.

Then move to Luxor.

Overnight in Luxor.

 

Day 6 : Luxor

Breakfast. Transfer to Luxor by train. Arrival, and transfer to start your tour to the West Bank – Valley of the Kings, Colossal of Memnon and Hatshepsut Temple. Excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes. Crossing the Nile, drive to the Valley of Kings; visit the tombs of various Dynasties.

The Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile. and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Move to the east bank of Luxor to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.

It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman Kingdom. Then move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon.

Day 7 : Luxor - Hurghada Free day

 

Breakfast Transfer to Hurghada by AC vehicle. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast. Free day.

Day 9 : Hurghada – Old Cairo Tour

Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo by flight. Arrival and transfer to start your tour visiting the Citadel of Salah El Din which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. After that visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came specially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Over 45 years.

After that you will move to Old Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church and Synagogue.

(Optional) Dinner Cruise including transportation, dinner, Belly Dancer, Tanura Show.

Overnight in Cairo.


Day 10 : Final Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for final departure.
