Morning Hotel Pickup & Transfer to Dive Center

• Your private Ramasside Tours coordinator and driver meet you directly at your Alexandria hotel or cruise port terminal at 09:00 AM.
• Board a modern, climate-controlled vehicle for a private transfer to Alexandria’s licensed marine diving center.
• Meet your certified divemaster, complete registration and health questionnaires, and attend a comprehensive safety and archaeological briefing covering dive routes, visibility conditions, marine awareness, and preservation guidelines for submerged cultural heritage.
• Get fitted with clean, well-maintained professional scuba gear, including wetsuit, mask, fins, regulator, buoyancy compensator (BCD), and tank.

Dive Boat Departure & Underwater Exploration

• Step aboard the dive boat and cruise out into the calm waters of Alexandria's Eastern Harbor.
• Dive 1: The Submerged Palace of Cleopatra (Antirhodos):
• Descend into shallow, accessible Mediterranean depths (approx. 5 to 7 meters). Glide over classical paved floors, red-granite pillars, ancient amphora fragments, and sphinx figures submerged since the 4th-century tsunamis and seismic shifts.
• Dive 2 / Site Exploration: The Pharos Ruins at Qaitbay:
• Explore the underwater site situated near the entrance of the eastern bay. Examine monolithic granite blocks weighing up to 70 tons, carved architectural elements, and towering column fragments that once comprised the foundational structure of the legendary Pharos Lighthouse.

Certification & Skill Requirements

• Certified divers must present a valid diving license (PADI, SSI, CMAS, or equivalent) and logbook.
• Introductory discovery dives (tandem with an instructor) can be arranged for non-certified divers subject to weather and harbor visibility conditions.
• Standard international dive safety regulations require a minimum 24-hour surface interval between scuba diving and flying on an aircraft.

Child Policy

• Under 10 years: Not permitted to participate in open-water scuba diving activities (snorkeling/boat ride options subject to prior clearance).
• 10 – 11.99 years: 50% of adult tour rate (Junior open water certified or accompanied discovery program).
• 12+ years: Full adult rate.
