Begin your day by exploring the Library of Alexandria, once one of the ancient world’s most significant repositories of knowledge, housing works by renowned Greek philosophers, scientists, and scholars. Greek was widely spoken throughout Alexandria.

Discover key landmarks like the Qaitbey Fort, built on the original site of the ancient lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Visit the Cavafy Museum, dedicated to the famous poet Constantine Cavafy, who was born in Alexandria in 1863 and lived there for most of his life. His residence on Lepsius Street is where he spent his last 35 years.

The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria is another testament to the strong Greek presence in the city. Today, Alexandria’s Greek heritage is still evident in its architecture, museums, and cultural festivals.

For lunch, you have the option to dine at the Greek Club Restaurant (White and Blue), known for its excellent seafood and stunning views of Alexandria.

Make a stop at the historic Greek Café Delice, founded by Greek citizens in 1922 at Ramel Station, where you can savour traditional Greek desserts.

End your day with a leisurely stroll along the Corniche, a scenic promenade by the Mediterranean Sea, and take in the stunning vistas of the city.
