On your first day, arrive in Cairo where our representative will welcome you holding a "Ramasside Tours" sign and transfer you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. On Day 2, explore the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, followed by an optional evening Sound and Light show. Day 3 includes visits to the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the ancient capital of Memphis, and the pyramids of Dahshur. Day 4 features a tour of the Saladin Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and the historic churches and synagogues of Old Coptic Cairo. Day 5 offers an optional full-day excursion to Alexandria, and Day 6 concludes with your airport transfer following breakfast.

Tour Itinerary & Details
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. You will be warmly greeted by our representative holding a "Ramasside Tours" sign. Transfer comfortably in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Classic Cairo Tour – Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
Following breakfast, your private guide will meet you at the hotel to begin your tour of Egypt's most famous monuments. Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. Explore the iconic Sphinx and the ancient Valley Temple adjacent to the Pyramid of Khafre.
Next, proceed to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Tahrir Square, home to an invaluable collection spanning 5,000 years of civilization—the world’s largest and most comprehensive assembly of Pharaonic treasures. Marvel at the golden masterpieces and jewelry discovered in the intact tomb of King Tutankhamun. The tour includes scenic photo stops along the Nile before returning to your hotel.
- Optional Evening Activity: Attend the spectacular Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids Plateau.

Day 3: Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur Pyramids
After breakfast, meet your guide to journey south to Saqqara, home of the Step Pyramid of King Djoser—humanity's earliest colossal stone monument, built during the 3rd Dynasty (circa 2630 BC). Continue to ancient Memphis, founded by King Menes as the first capital of unified Egypt during the Old Kingdom and a center of governance and religion for over three millennia; here, view the monumental fallen colossus of Ramses II.
Proceed south to Dahshur to explore the Red Pyramid (Egypt’s first true smooth-sided pyramid) and the Bent Pyramid. Return to the hotel.
- Optional Evening Activity: Enjoy a 2-hour dinner cruise on the Nile River featuring live traditional music, folklore shows, and belly dance performances.

Day 4: Saladin Citadel & Old Coptic Cairo
After breakfast, your guide will escort you to the Citadel of Saladin, constructed in 1183 on the Mokattam Hills to defend Cairo from Crusader armies. Inside the citadel walls, tour the Mosque of Muhammad Ali (the Alabaster Mosque), designed by the Ottoman architect Yusuf Bushnak.
Next, head to Old Coptic Cairo to explore its rich multi-faith heritage: visit the Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Church), the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of Saint Sergius and Bacchus (Abu Serga), and the Church of Saint Barbara. Return to your hotel.

Day 5: Free Day in Cairo (Optional Alexandria Excursion)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a free day at your leisure in Cairo.
- Optional Day Trip to Alexandria:
- Meet your guide for a private transfer along the desert highway to coastal Alexandria. Begin at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the world’s largest modern library housing millions of volumes, touring the external plaza and open-air exhibitions.
- (Note: The library is closed on Fridays and public holidays; reading halls require a separate admission ticket).
- Visit the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the historic site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Walk through the lush Royal Gardens of King Farouk at Montaza Palace, viewing Al-Haramlik, Al-Salamlik, and the royal beaches. Proceed to the ornate Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque, the Unknown Soldier Memorial, and the statue of Alexander the Great.
- Following lunch, visit Saint Mark's Coptic Church (the oldest church in Africa), take a scenic coastal drive along Alexandria’s 30 km Corniche, admire views near Stanley Bridge, and stroll through historic downtown streets founded by Alexander the Great.
- Return to your hotel.
- Overnight in Cairo.
Day 6: Final Departure from Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Our representative will assist with check-out, provide your private airport transfer, and help finalize all departure formalities.

- Egyptian Hotel Grading:
- Hotel star classifications in Egypt differ from North American and European equivalents. We strongly advise choosing "Luxury" or "Ultimate Luxury" options, as some standard 5-star properties may reflect lower hospitality tiers.
- Visa Assistance Upon Arrival:
- Avoid airport lines and streamline entry procedures. Our airport team can pre-arrange your visa before arrival—simply submit a copy of your passport in advance. Travelers holding valid US, UK, or Schengen visas qualify for on-arrival entry support without needing prior embassy processing.
- Sleeper Trains (Not Recommended):
- Night trains are noisy, average 15 to 18 hours per journey, and offer basic amenities. We strongly recommend substituting long rail transfers with domestic flights coupled with an extra night in a 5-star hotel (approx. $150 per person). Holiday supplements may apply during peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter).
