Arrive in Cairo with a private transfer to your hotel. On Day 2, visit the Egyptian Museum, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx. Tour Itinerary & Details
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by a Ramasside Tours representative and transferred in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids & The Egyptian Museum Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Start your day with a guided visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to rare collections spanning 5,000 years of civilization—the world’s largest and most valuable assembly of Egyptian art. More than 250,000 authentic artifacts are exhibited, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun discovered intact in the 1920s, along with the gold and jewelry preserved in his tomb for over 3,500 years.
Next, proceed to the Great Pyramids of Giza—Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. The Great Pyramid of Cheops stands as the largest pyramid ever constructed. Continue to see the Great Sphinx, the legendary colossal statue featuring the body of a lion and the facial features of King Khafre.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Full-Day Alexandria Tour
Your guide will meet you at the hotel to begin your journey to Alexandria. Tour the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the largest modern library in the world, designed to house up to 8 million volumes. Explore its open plazas and museum exhibitions.
(Note: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is closed on Fridays and public holidays; entry to reading halls requires an additional ticket).
Next, visit the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—where the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay now stands. Walk through the lush Royal Gardens of King Farouk (Egypt's last reigning monarch), viewing the historic Al-Haramlik and Al-Salamlik palaces and the royal beachfront. Visit the ornate Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque, the Unknown Soldier Memorial, and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Following lunch, visit Saint Mark's Coptic Church—the oldest Christian church in Africa—and take a scenic drive along the 30 km Corniche, viewing Alexandria from the seafront where 7,000 underwater antiquities have been discovered.
Visit the iconic Stanley Bridge, tour the historic downtown area, and stroll through the ancient districts established by Alexander the Great.

Day 4: Flight to Luxor – East & West Banks
Breakfast at hotel, followed by your transfer and flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, begin exploring the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari. Cross the Nile to explore the royal tombs across various dynasties in the Theban Necropolis.
On the return route, view the Colossi of Memnon—two towering statues representing Amenhotep III seated facing the Nile. Transfer to Luxor's East Bank to tour the Karnak Temple complex, the largest religious worship site in history, dedicated to the Theban Triad: Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. Developed continuously from the Middle Kingdom through the Greco-Roman period.
Proceed to Luxor Temple, commissioned during the New Kingdom by Pharaoh Amenhotep III and completed by Pharaoh Ramses II of the 19th Dynasty, who ruled Egypt for nearly 67 years. Admire the colossal granite statues and obelisks of Ramses II standing before the first pylon.
Transfer to hotel.

Day 5: Luxor to Aswan
Breakfast at hotel.
- Optional Hot Air Balloon Excursion: Take an early sunrise flight over the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Mountain of the Nobles (duration 30–45 minutes, weather permitting).
- Transfer by train to Aswan. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and begin your Aswan sightseeing tour. Visit the Aswan High Dam, completed in 1964, overlooking scenic Lake Nasser. Continue to the Island Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, famously salvaged and reconstructed above rising waters, featuring shrines spanning from the 26th Dynasty through the Roman era.
- Overnight in Aswan.
Day 6: Aswan to Cairo (Optional Abu Simbel Excursion)
Breakfast at hotel. Free day in Aswan.
- Optional Abu Simbel Excursion: Transfer south to visit the monumental rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II (19th Dynasty), famously relocated to prevent flooding from Lake Nasser. Admire the colossal sandstone facade sculpted with deified royal figures, and visit the adjacent Hathor Temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Return to Aswan.
- Transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
- Overnight in Cairo.

- Sleeper Trains (Not Recommended):
