On the first day, arrive in Cairo, where our Ramasside Tours representative will meet you holding a greeting sign to escort you to your hotel. On Day 2, visit the Egyptian Museum and the Great Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Day 3 includes a domestic flight to Aswan, excursions to the High Dam and Philae Temple, and embarkation on your Nile cruise. Over the following days, cruise down the Nile to discover the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu, as well as Luxor’s monumental sites such as Karnak and Luxor temples. On Day 6, return to Cairo following an optional sunrise hot air balloon flight over Luxor and a tour of the Valley of the Kings. On Day 7, enjoy a full-day guided trip to Alexandria, exploring the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and coastal landmarks. Finally, Day 8 concludes with your airport transfer for international departure.

Tour Itinerary & Details
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative holding a "Ramasside Tours" sign. Transfer comfortably in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Your tour begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to a rare collection of 5,000-year-old art—the world’s largest and most significant exhibition of ancient Egyptian treasures, including the gold artifacts and jewels of King Tutankhamun.
Proceed to the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure, followed by the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
- Optional Evening Activity: Attend the Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids Plateau.
- Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo to Aswan – Nile Cruise Embarkation
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Island Temple of Philae. Transfer to your Nile cruise vessel for check-in and lunch onboard.

Day 4: Nile Cruise – Kom Ombo & Edfu
Breakfast onboard. Cruise toward Kom Ombo and enjoy afternoon tea on the sun deck. Tour the twin Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated jointly to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. Sail north toward Edfu. Enjoy dinner onboard followed by a traditional Galabeya party.

Day 5: Nile Cruise – Edfu to Luxor
Breakfast onboard. Visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Cruise through the Esna Lock toward Luxor. Afternoon tea on deck.
- Optional Luxor East Bank Tour: Tour Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever constructed, dedicated to the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonsu) with structures spanning from the Middle Kingdom through Greco-Roman times. Continue to Luxor Temple, initiated by Amenhotep III and embellished by Ramses II, featuring colossal granite statues and obelisks.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank – Flight back to Cairo
Breakfast onboard followed by disembarkation.

Visit the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay, erected on the exact foundation of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Walk through the Royal Gardens of Montaza Palace, viewing King Farouk’s historic palaces (Al-Haramlik and Al-Salamlik). Proceed to the ornate Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque, the Unknown Soldier Memorial, and the statue of Alexander the Great.

- Egyptian Hotel Grading:
- Hotel star classifications in Egypt differ from North American and European equivalents. We strongly advise choosing "Luxury" or "Ultimate Luxury" options, as some standard 5-star properties may reflect lower hospitality tiers.
- Visa Assistance Upon Arrival:
- Avoid airport lines and streamline entry procedures. Our airport team can pre-arrange your visa before arrival—simply submit a copy of your passport in advance. Travelers holding valid US, UK, or Schengen visas qualify for on-arrival entry support without needing prior embassy processing.
- Sleeper Trains (Not Recommended):
- Night trains are noisy, average 15 to 18 hours per journey, and offer basic amenities. We strongly recommend substituting long rail transfers with domestic flights coupled with an extra night in a 5-star hotel (approx. $150 per person). Holiday supplements may apply during peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter).
