On Day 3, fly to Aswan to visit the High Dam and the Temple of Philae before embarking on your Nile cruise. Day 4 takes you to Kom Ombo and Edfu, featuring dinner and an onboard disco party. On Day 5, sail to Luxor for an overnight stay. Day 6 includes visits to the West Bank—exploring the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple—before your return flight to Cairo. Tour Itinerary & Details
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where our Ramasside Tours representative will meet you holding a greeting sign to assist with entry visa procedures (entry visa included for most nationalities). Afterwards, enjoy a private transfer in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour
After breakfast, start your sightseeing excursion with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, showcasing masterworks spanning over 5,000 years of civilization, including the world-famous golden collection of King Tutankhamun. Continue to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—the Great Pyramid of Giza—where you can take in panoramic views of the Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. The tour includes stops at the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, where ancient mummification rituals were performed, with plenty of opportunities for photos.

Day 3: Cairo to Aswan – Nile Cruise Embarkation
Following breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Island Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis. Transfer to your cruise ship to begin your Nile voyage.
(Note: Cruise sailing schedules may adjust due to navigational conditions, but all scheduled sightseeing visits are fully guaranteed).

Day 4: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Sail toward Kom Ombo. Enjoy afternoon tea on deck. Visit the unusual twin Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated jointly to Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris the winged falcon god. Continue sailing toward Edfu. Enjoy dinner onboard followed by an evening disco party.

Day 5: Edfu Temple – Cruise to Luxor
Breakfast onboard. Visit the remarkably intact Temple of Horus at Edfu. Pass through the river locks and cruise peacefully north to Luxor.

Breakfast onboard followed by disembarkation.

- Begin your guided exploration of Luxor's West Bank: tour the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the imposing Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, and the colossal Colossi of Memnon.

- Egyptian Hotel Grading:
- Hotel star classifications in Egypt differ from North American and European equivalents. We strongly advise choosing "Luxury" or "Ultimate Luxury" options, as some standard 5-star properties may reflect lower hospitality tiers.
- Visa Assistance Upon Arrival:
- Avoid airport lines and streamline entry procedures. Our airport team can pre-arrange your visa before arrival—simply submit a copy of your passport in advance. Travelers holding valid US, UK, or Schengen visas qualify for on-arrival entry support without needing prior embassy processing.
- Sleeper Trains (Not Recommended):
- Night trains are noisy, average 15 to 18 hours per journey, and offer basic amenities. We strongly recommend substituting long rail transfers with domestic flights coupled with an extra night in a 5-star hotel (approx. $150 per person). Holiday supplements may apply during peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter).
