Tour Highlights

Your Ramasside guide will be waiting for you at the pickup point with a Ramasside sign, making it easy for you to find him. After an informative discussion about your trip, board a modern, air-conditioned vehicle and visit the four uniquely preserved monasteries in the area: Deir El Baramus, the oldest monastery, and Deir Anba Bishoy, where the saint’s relics are kept. Deir Abu Makari, the richest monastery, and finally, the smallest and most compact monastery, Deir El-Surian. On your return to Alexandria, you may have time for some photos before comfortably returning to your hotel.

Tour Details

Your Ramasside guide will be waiting for you. He or she will be holding a sign with the Ramasside logo, making it easy for you to find him or her. You do not need to look for him or her — he or she will be waiting and will find you.

From the moment your journey begins, your guide will be fully focused on you. Once you board the car, the guide will inform you about all the sights and other aspects of the itinerary that may interest you.

Then, you will depart in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle for this secluded area to visit the last four monasteries where people still live.

First, you will visit the oldest monastery — Deir Al-Baramus, then you will go to Deir Anba Bishoy Monastery, where the body of Saint Anba Bishoy is kept, followed by the richest monastery, Deir Abu Makari, and finally, you will visit the smallest and most compact of the four monasteries — Deir El-Surian.

On your return to Alexandria, if there is enough time, we can arrange a few places for photos.

You will comfortably return to your hotel in Alexandria.

You can request one of our professional photographers to accompany you to the pyramids or on any tour you wish. Our studio photographers will capture your best angles and expressions at the best locations of your choice, at an additional cost of $50 per day.

Alexandria Tour:

Please note that the Library of Alexandria is closed on Fridays and official holidays. An additional ticket is required to enter the reading room.

Prices are quoted in US dollars, but you can pay in euros or British pounds. The cost is per person and is continuously updated to ensure the best price for you. Our tours may be semi-private for small groups or individual VIP tours upon request.

All tours do not include tickets for special archaeological sites, such as the interior of the pyramids, the Mummies Hall at the Egyptian Museum, or Tutankhamun’s Tomb in Luxor. These visits require additional tickets.

- 2 - 11.99 years – 50% of the tour price

- Over 12 years – full charge as adults

If the tour includes flights, there may be an additional charge for the child.

Booking Confirmation:
